2010 Newton Vineyard Red Label Chardonnay

Waiter, there is butter and oak in my wine! This wine reminds me a lot of the J. Lohr chardonnay, but it’s more rich and complex. Very full-bodied with deep flavors of butter and oak. What does oak mean? In my opinion, it’s when the wine has a wood or nutty characteristic. Newton has a more high-end chardonnay in the $50 price range and I’m told it’s super buttery. Hopefully I’ll get to try it!
